With the project kick-off, we have now definitively entered the third phase of our project ‘Foster children – next generation’.
We are now working together with innovative practical organisations

- Service de l’enfance et de la jeunesse SEJ Canton of Fribourg
together with experts from
- Bern University of Applied Sciences BFH and
- ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences
- Haute école de travail social Fribourg (HETS-FR)
the findings of the first two project phases into practice.
Over the next 2.5 years or so, the four projects on the areas of action ‘Involvement of biological parents’ and ‘Care by relatives’ will develop concrete instruments, processes and methods to further strengthen the foster care system and improve it for those affected.
In order to facilitate the multiplication of results in the field and to feed the experience gained from piloting in different practical settings back into the projects, other organisations from the field are supporting project phase III.
